Pipework Chlorination in London
London is where we do most of our work. Our engineers chlorinate new and altered pipework for M&E, mechanical and plumbing contractors, developers and builders across the capital, so your water connection or handover isn't held up waiting on paperwork.
New Thames Water and Affinity Water connections
If you're connecting a new supply in London, a chlorination certificate and lab sample results are usually needed before the connection can go ahead. Thames Water's guidance, for example, says it will ask for a chlorination procedure on new supply pipes of 63 mm and over. For new mains, pressure testing, chlorination and bacteriological sampling all come before connection. Affinity Water covers parts of north and west London, and its process can be different, so always check your connection offer for exactly what your water company wants.
We chlorinate private external MDPE mains up to 63 mm, take the samples and give you the paperwork, so you have it ready when your connection date comes.
